Quebec Intellectual Disability Week, which celebrated its 30th anniversary in March 2018, is a week of provincial awareness raising, the goal of which is to bring the general public and people with an intellectual disability closer together, to create a more inclusive society. A full week of activities is held across Quebec. Actor Vincent-Guillaume Otis, spokesperson for the past 10 years, was joined in 2014 by the talented Gabrielle Marion-Rivard as fellow spokesperson.

The next Quebec Intellectual Disability Week will take place March 15 to 21, 2020.

Vincent-Guillaume Otis

Since 2010, Vincent-Guillaume has been the ideal spokesperson: he is generous, open, attentive and engaged. He is well-known to the public, and he understands the issues surrounding this functional limitation, as his brother lives with an intellectual disability.

Gabrielle Marion-Rivard

Known in part for her leading role in the film Gabrielle, Gabrielle joined Vincent-Guillaume as a spokesperson in 2014 to raise awareness about intellectual disabilities. Gabrielle is a source of pride for people living with a disability and has become an inspiration for the entire community. With her understanding of what people with an intellectual disability experience daily, she is an incredible spokesperson who knows how to shine a light on the talents of these remarkable people.
