Joint submission – Elaboration of the government’s fourth action plan to combat poverty and social exclusion
June 21, 2023
A joint submission reflecting real needs
The Quebec Intellectual Disability Society, the Fédération québécoise de l’autisme, the Confédération des organismes de personnes handicapées du Québec, the Alliance québécoise des regroupements régionaux pour l’intégration des personnes handicapées and the Réseau communautaire en santé mentale present their joint submission as part of the elaboration of the government’s fourth action plan in the fight against poverty and social exclusion.
The submission proposes recommendations based on major areas of government action, including financial security, housing, transportation and mobility, social participation, education and the social safety net in general. The 65 recommendations proposed are an overview of the efforts needed to truly combat poverty and social exclusion among persons with disabilities or mental health conditions.
Read the submission
The brief is available in two versions: one sent to the government, and a simpler, easier-to-read version. Both versions present the same requests and follow the same structure. The only difference is that the simpler version is easier to read and understand.
