Since 1951, the QIDS has been promoting and defending the rights and interests of people with intellectual disabilities and their families. It brings together over 100 organizations throughout Quebec.
Consultations with the intellectual disability community 2025–2026
SQDI is updating its policy and request document. To accurately reflect the needs and priorities of the community, we are currently consulting with people with intellectual disabilities, their loved ones, our members, and our partners with specific expertise.These consultations, which began in April 2025, will continue until 2026. The final document will be published in early summer 2026.Thanks to your voice, the SQDI will be able to better represent the community and advocate for issues that matter to you.
